As a family business we know the stress of children ‘flying the nest’ so why not pop into our new office and meet us. Let us reassure you that however far from home they are, there is somebody there to look out for them (even if it is simply help with how to use the washing machine!). However, even though your students have moved out of the family home, as Parents/Guarantors you still have a part to play in your child’s life. As most students won’t have previous references or high credit score you are needed to guarantee your child’s tenancy. This simply holds a guarantee that your child will pay their rent and also adhere to the Terms and Conditions of their tenancy, and may require additional credit checks. If they fail to meet these terms you will be liable for any outstanding rent or damages caused by your child.
